The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska is accepting bids for the construction of improvements to the Agency Grounds Educational Trail located at 88915 521st Avenue, Niobrara, NE 68760.
The 31st Annual Ponca Tribe of Nebraska Powwow will be held at the Agency Grounds August 7-10, 2025. Grounds must be usable during Powwow and as much construction as possible should be completed by August 1, 2025. This Project will be constructed under a single prime contract or may be constructed under four (4) separate contracts under the Owner’s supervision. The Work includes of the improvements on the Ponca Agency grounds including pavement of the roads (currently gravel), new sidewalks and ADA parking spaces, pavement of RV spaces, water and electricity to the RV spaces, an new parking lot (part concrete paved, part gravel), a new dump station and a new restroom/shower house. The Restroom / Shower House Building is a new one story, wood-framed building. The Work includes but is not limited to: wood framing; cast-in-place concrete foundation walls; concrete slab on grade; metal siding (trim & soffit panels; metal roof, gutters and downspouts; hollow metal frames and doors, plumbing, HVAC and electrical work. Sitework will include earthwork and grading, concrete paving, site utilities and erosion control. Owner-provided work on this project includes two septic systems and a new well near the dump station. This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act.
